Meet your teachers
A small, dedicated team rooted in traditional Hatha.
Araliya Bosma
Hatha Yoga Teacher
Grounded, attentive practice for body, breath and mind.
Araliya teaches with a grounded, professional approach drawn from eight years of teaching across Amsterdam, Haarlem and online. Her path has taken her from Sivananda-rooted training at Swasti Yoga in India to formal certifications in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Pilates. She brings a holistic view of yoga as a lifestyle — harmonising body, breath and mind — and weaves in mantra, pranayama and sound healing where appropriate. Expect a calm, attentive class with personal corrections offered as needed.
Yoga for me is a lifestyle — a holistic approach to harmonise body, mind, and soul. It is a transformative journey toward self-realisation, inner peace and calm.

Maugane Duval
Hatha & Yin Yoga Teacher
A sacred pause — slow, intentional practice for the nervous system.
Maugane teaches a slow, intentional practice rooted in 200 hours of traditional Hatha training at Pranam Yoga in Varkala, India. As an integrative therapist trained in hypnotherapy, sound healing, Reiki, EMDR and integrative trauma work, she brings a body-first sensibility into every class. Expect pranayama at the opening, a slow intentional flow building gentle heat, and longer holds toward the close — with sound, poetry or hypnosis sometimes woven in to support release.
My teacher in India used to say: doing a handstand and calling it yoga is like showing your hands and saying it's your whole body.

Giuditta Paci-Fortune
Co-Founder & Hatha Yoga Teacher
Co-founder of Om Yoga Studios — a traditional Hatha practice.
Giuditta is a Hatha yoga teacher with twelve years of teaching experience, and an Āyurvedic Yoga Specialist, Nāda music therapist and Āyurveda practitioner. She is a yoga trainer and the founder of the Amogha Ayurveda Institute, and co-founder of Om Yoga Studios.
My teachings draw from the principles of Haṭha yoga, using the body as the entry point to cultivate awareness. Informed by yoga philosophy, Āyurveda, and the many teachers who have influenced my practice, I invite students to explore yoga as a lifelong practice of self-study.

Juliette Pasman
Hatha Yoga Teacher
A steady, classical Hatha practice — the place to begin.
Juliette has taught for more than ten years and trained at Saswitha, the Dutch school of yoga and philosophy, where the practice is taught as a whole: posture, breath, meditation and the ideas behind them. Her Foundational class moves slowly and deliberately, with time to learn each posture properly and settle into the breath. Alongside Hatha she teaches Yin, pranayama and meditation, and has worked with sound healing and pre- and postnatal yoga. Expect a calm, consistent class, taught the same way each week so the body can learn it.
- Four-year yoga teacher training — Saswitha Opleiding voor Yoga en Wijsbegeerte, Bilthoven, the oldest yoga teacher training in the Netherlands
- diploma recognised by the Vereniging Yogadocenten Nederland
Elli Roupaki
Hatha Yoga Teacher
Consistency over intensity — strength and awareness in equal measure.
Elli trained at the Yin Yang Yoga School in Athens and taught Hatha and Vinyasa there for the better part of a decade before moving to Amsterdam, where she teaches private and small-group sessions alongside her Intermediate class here. Her instructions are simple and precise: she explains what a posture is for, offers variations so everyone works at their own level, and pays close attention to transitions, breath and alignment. She has gone on to study pranayama, yoga anatomy and inversions, and sees the breath as the bridge between the physical practice and a quieter, more inward state. Expect longer holds, a full breath section, and a class that grows by consistency rather than intensity.
Asana is a way of developing awareness of the body, breath and mind, rather than an end in itself. A long-term practice grows through consistency rather than intensity.
- RYT 200 Hatha — Yin Yang Yoga School, Athens (2016)
- further training in Pranayama, Yoga Anatomy and Handstand practice
Ivana Jade
Hatha Yoga Teacher
Every body is unique — a present, intentional practice for experienced students.
Ivana is a professional contemporary dancer, classically trained in ballet, who has taught yoga across Amsterdam for several years, most recently at Yoga School Noord. She builds her classes with intention: a short meditation and breath work to begin, Sun Salutations to warm up, then standing and balancing postures, arm balances, backbends and inversions, before a long Śavāsana and a closing meditation. Breath work, mantra, sound and singing are part of her own practice and find their way into class. She leads our Advanced class on Thursday evenings. Expect clear guidance, hands-on adjustments when welcome, and the reminder that yoga is not about perfection but about awareness, balance and leaving more connected to yourself.
Yoga should adapt to the individual, rather than the individual having to adapt to the pose. It is not about perfection; it is about creating awareness, finding balance, and leaving the class feeling more connected to yourself.

Martina Sangion
Prenatal Yoga Teacher
Prenatal yoga for every stage of pregnancy.
Martina teaches our Prenatal class on Wednesday mornings, a practice adapted to every stage of pregnancy: supported standing postures, gentle strength and mobility, breath work and a modified, propped Śavāsana. She teaches under her own practice, Holistic Harmony, in Amsterdam. Expect a slow, attentive class where nothing is pushed and everything can be adapted.
